Mike HuckabeeOverall Grade : D+ Website : http://www.mikehuckabee.com/ Bio : Mike Huckabee was born August 24, 1955 in Hope, Arkansas. He attended Ouachita Baptist University and graduated with a B.A. in 1975. He subsequently attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary from 1976-80. Prior to entering politics, Mr. Huckabee worked in advertising, spent a number of years as a pastor and denominational leader, and eventually ended up working in the television and media industry. He was elected Arkansas’ lieutenant governor in 1993, and become governor in 1996 when his predecessor resigned from office. He was elected to two full four year terms in 1998 and 2002. He left office in January, 2007. He has been running for president since he left the governor’s office. He is married to Janet Huckabee and has 3 grown children. Endorsements : John Tyson, Jim Lindsey, Warren Stephens, Steven Reinemund, Scott Ford Key Issues : Supports a “Fair Tax” plan, eliminate the IRS, faith and moral values, passing a marriage amendment to the constitution.
