Bio :  John Edwards was born June 10, 1953 in Seneca, South Carolina. Married to Elizabeth in 1977. Education includes North Carolina State University, B.S., 1974; University of North Carolina, J.D., 1977. Started his own law firm in 1993 and in 1998 won a seat in the U.S. Senate. In 2003, announced that he would run for president in 2004. Later, he dropped out of the race and joined John Kerry as his V.P. candidate.
